Recording Hidden Sounds Workshop

A rare opportunity to learn about the variety of recording techniques to capture sounds, which are not usually audible to the ear. Developing recording skills using different kinds of microphones. A day long practical workshop where participants will be listening and recording electromagnetic waves, underwater sounds, field recordings, infra-sound and ultra-sound. The workshop involves sessions on theory, field craft, practical work in the field and listening sessions. Participants need to bring their own recorders. Led by world-renowned sound recordist Jez Riley French.

Sound Massage

Multiple dates / locations.
Live ASMR! Sound Massage Practitioners will invite passing members of the public to sit and receive a sound massage every Friday and Saturday for 4 weeks. A practitioner uses various materials provided such as pebbles, dry leaves, cellophane, Velcro etc behind a listener's head, seated comfortably in front of them.
