EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE IS REAL

This guided listening walk allows the listener to choose to walk in a forest or a library. They are asked to attend to different tasks in order to shift between different modes of prolonged sonic and environmental perception. It is made for an individual and is designed to be listened on headphones.
The aim is to acknowledge the environment that surrounds us through use of all our senses while listening. The instructional audio will be available to stream from a mobile device on the event days.

Martyna Poznanska through different media builds connections between sound and solid matter. This includes the practice of listening and field recording with various visual tools such as video, installation, her own body and drawing. She engages her practice in environmental and political issues, focusing on the relationship between the human body and the ‘body of nature’ and how it could be transformed.
